Ignite was formed 5 years ago with a desire to make a difference in student ministry from the smallest church to the largest church. Its core values have always been these five things:
- Quality Training – we believe in experience and depth
- Affordable – We know that most churches with tight budgets. We believe that small budgets shouldn’t hold back great training.
- For the Entire Youth Ministry – Student leaders, youth workers and volunteers have always been our target.
- Solid Resources – good materials often transfer into good ministry.
- Networking – Bible Studies at Public High Schools have launched in Des Moines through relationships that were forged at Ignite
Purpose Statement: The goal of ignite is to help youth ministries do better youth ministry through quality training, solid resources, networking and at a price that allows the entire youth ministry to attend to the glory of God.
History: Ignite started 5 years ago with a vision to do quality youth ministry with local youth workers so that through those relationships, God could accomplish His will and purpose in the state of Iowa. The first year we had 235 participants. Since that first year God has expanded the ministry opportunities to include multiple states, hundreds of churches with the same vision and purpose, just multiplied.
